Dining in our Restaurant
Having recently spent a few weeks refurbishing our Restaurant we welcome all guests to enjoy a comfortable and warm ambiance for their evening meal. Our chefs work hard to produce a varied menu to suit all tastes. Ingredients are sourced locally and we happily cater to vegetarians and other dietary requirements if you let us know in advance of your visit.
Friends like to dine together to catch up on news and so we like to extend a warm welcome to non-residents also. For those of you looking for a fine wine to accompany your meal look no further. We have sourced some delicious Bordeaux wines for you to enjoy, at very reasonable prices.
Include your dinner reservation with your room booking or inform our reception staff upon arrival. We look forward to serving you.
EXMOUTH’S OLDEST HOTEL
The 40-room, family-run, Manor Hotel has sat in its enviable location on Exmouth’s historic Regency Beacon since 1790. We are proud of being one of the first properties to have been built on the Beacon, and we look forward to welcoming you to Exmouth’s oldest hostelry. A gentle stroll through the stunning Manor Gardens takes you to the mile long beach within a few short minutes. Sand, sea, cafés and all manner of activities and entertainment are right on our doorstep.
Guests also love the fact that within 5 minutes they can wander into the town centre for a bit of shopping, a snack and of course access the cycling or walking trail along the Exe Estuary. It’s a pretty walk with gorgeous views across the river towards Powderham Castle and it’s surrounding countryside and depending on your stamina you can travel 17.5miles and take in both banks of the estuary from Exmouth to Dawlish Warren. This is one of the best birding routes in the country with migratory birds in their thousands gracing the estuary. Don’t be scared off by the long distance as there are villages and pubs on the way as well as trains to bring you back.
What’s On at Manor:
Join us for some music fun on Thursday 8 March as well as Thursday 15 March from 20.30 – 22.30 hrs in the bar.
What better way to wile away an evening than to be entertained by local talent in the warmth of our bar. Of course you can arrive early and enjoy dinner with friends first. Non-residents are more than welcome.
